The Queue is getting shorter

IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR DISAPPOINTMENTS, DELAYS AND DISCOURAGEMENT JUST KNOW THIS; YOU ARE STILL IN THE QUEUE TO YOUR BREAKTHROUGH. YOU MAY HAVE BEEN NUMBER 30 LAST MONTH, 25 LAST WEEK, 10 YESTERDAY, 3 TODAY AND TOMORROW YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE NUMBER 1. SO LOOK AT YOUR TOMORROW WITH EXPECTATIONS BECAUSE IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME.

Head first

WHEN A CHILD LEAVES HIS MOTHER’S WOMB ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY, HE COMES OUT HEAD FIRST, MEANING IF YOU WANT TO COME OUT OF YOUR DEPRESSION AND HARDSHIPS YOU NEED TO COME OUT HEAD FIRST. YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET IN ORDER TO MOVE FROM WHERE YOU ARE TO WHERE YOU ARE ASPIRING TO BE.

God's business

GOD IS IN THE RE- BUSINESS. SO, ALLOW HIM TO RECYCLE YOUR PAIN, REVIVE YOUR DREAMS,RESURRECT YOUR FAITH, REPOSITION YOU, REJUVINATE YOU, RESTORE WHAT YOU HAVE LOST, RE-IGNITE YOUR HOPE, RENEW YOUR STRENGTH, REPROGRAM YOUR MIND, REDIRECT YOUR STEPS, RE-ORGANISE YOUR PRIORITIES, REPAIR YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, REVEAL YOUR PURPOSE AND REPLACE WHAT IS DEAD IN YOUR LIFE.

Don't lose your faith

DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH NO MATTER HOW HOPELESS YOUR SITUATION MAY BE. DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH NO MATTER HOW INTIMIDATING LIFE MAY BE. DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH NO MATTER HOW NEGATIVE THE FACTS MAY BE. DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH NO MATTER HOW OVERWHELMING THE CIRCUMSTANCES AROUND YOU MAY BE. DON’T LOSE YOUR FAITH BECAUSE GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.

The real you

WHEN YOU SQUEEZ AN ORANGE, ORANGE JUICE COMES OUT, WHEN YOU SQUEEZ AN APPLE, APPLE JUICE COMES OUT, WHEN YOU SQUEEZ A GRAPE, GRAPE JUICE COMES OUT, WHEN YOU SQUEEZ AN OLIVE, OLIVE OIL COMES OUT AND WHEN LIFE’S CHALLENGES SQUEEZ YOU, THE REAL YOU WILL SHOW UP. CHALLENGES ARE NOT MEANT TO DESTROY YOU BUT TO REVEAL YOU TO YOU.

The cemetery of your past

There are certain people whose company is only enjoyable when you constantly talk about the past. Your conversation with them becomes meaningful when you join them in an expedition down memory lane. Nothing is ever mentioned about what they are doing and where they are going. Renowned author and teacher, Dr Mike Murdock describes the effect of the past through these words: “Our houses are full of pictures about our past, pictures that are hanging all over our walls. Hence, we are always caught up in a tragic mindset of living in the past, because we have not taken the effort to design the pictures about the kind of future we desire.” Listen, there is nothing wrong when you once in a while visit the museum of your past but it is catastrophic when the cemetery of your past becomes your dwelling place. You cannot afford to live in the past when the future is beckoning you. What you need to take into cognisance is that your past is buried, your present is what matters and your future is wrapped in the core of what you are currently doing.

Battle within

An old Cherokee Indian was having a conversation with his grandson. “My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside all of us. One is evil and it is revealed through the following character traits: anger, envy, jealousy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride and ego. On the other hand, the good one possesses the following attributes: joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, truth, compassion and faith.” The grandson asked which wolf wins. The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed the most.”
The greatest battle about life is not on the outside but on the inside; for, it is the inner qualities that have a bearing on the outside appearance. We all strive to alter and change the things we don’t like on the outside without realizing that everything needs to be re-programmed on the inside. Our lives are a reflection of what is happening on the inside.
If you are not happy with the picture of your life, make sure you adjust the camera on the inside.

Womb of development.

Negative situations offer many of us opportunities to attend free lessons in which we acquire knowledge and strength. There is something worthwhile in every negative circumstance, for what you are going through prepares you for where you are going. You may view your negative circumstances as a prison without realizing that you are actually in a womb which is a place of preparation and development.
A womb may not be an appealing place to live in, but it is a place where one needs to be in order to acquire knowledge, develop courage and discover purpose. Some of the world’s greatest people were once enrolled and tutored in life’s university of adversity. What you are going through is not unique, because somebody before you went through the same classes and they came out of those negative situations with a degree in greatness.

Stay focused like a lion

Focus determines the direction and success of any person, group or organization. It is the missing ingredient in many people’s lives and is therefore what separates champions from losers, achievers from failures and the extra-ordinary from the ordinary. As the common saying goes, good girls go to heaven while bad girls go everywhere. This means that people who are focused know where they are going, while the less focused go everywhere.
Predators, like lions, understand the power of focus. Whenever a lion encounters a group of zebras during its hunting expedition, it immediately focuses on one zebra. And during the chase, the lion ignores the other zebras but continues pursuing the one zebra it has chosen. And no matter how fast the zebra may run, the lion continues with its pursuit. The zebra might even seem to be outrunning other zebras but in spite of its efforts, the lion would continue the chase like a missile until it catches its prey. A lion knows that whatever it focuses on, it would eventually get.
So, like a lion, focus on one zebra (projects, tasks and goals) at a time. Pursue one thing at a time. Even though your prey might try to outrun you, stick to it. Let your hunger for success be the fuel that would power you into chasing and finally catching the zebra you have been whole heartedly focusing on.

Your unique signature

Every one of us possesses a unique DNA that separates us from other people. In other words, everybody is born unique. Our DNA and finger prints serve as a reminder that we are here on earth with unique talents to accomplish unique assignments. For example, when you mention the name Tiger Woods, what comes into your mind is golf; Trevor Noah makes you laugh at his comedy; Floyd Mayweather-boxing, Lira does music; Chad Le cloux-swimming; Brian Habana-Rugby, Messi-Soccer, Alexander Graham Bell-inventions and Naomi Campbell-modeling.
It is quite clear that all of us have been endowed with different qualities for different purposes. The world is like a soccer team with different types of players assigned to different positions to perform different functions on the field of play. But sadly, many go through life trying to express who they really are without success.
As a result they end up imitating what others are doing in a bid to fit in. What others are doing is preferred at the expense of what they were supposed to do. Imitating others is embraced and uniqueness is ignored.
The majority of people have shelved their unique individual traits in favour of fitting in and being part of the crowd. The world is full of people who are living as photo copies of other people. This destructive mindset has created a void in the world; because many have chosen to blend in like chameleons rather than standing out like giraffes.
